All all all and Nørrebro Teater present Tryouts; a series of performance formats that explore performance art within the theatre space.
Tryouts invites the audience to experience how performance works can introduce alternative ways of engaging when contemporary art meets the theatre stage.
The second edition of Tryouts presents the performance Shipwreck by the Copenhagen-based artist and performer Skjold Rambow.
Shipwreck is the second part of the two-part performance How to Play Piano, which explores what it means to belong somewhere when one’s life, love, and history are scattered across the world. It examines identity and presence in a globalized world, and the piece engages with play – both as a physical act and as a metaphor for searching, improvising, and finding meaning.
The performance work is originally made for Les Urbaines, Schwitzerland, and has since evolved into an entirely new piece created specifically for Tryouts Nørrebro Teater’s stage.
All all all is a a process-based exhibition platform founded in 2022 and is run by art historians Klara Li and Sif Lindblad.
