GET BEHIND THE SCENES

Discover the history and magic of our theatre on a guided tour of Nørrebro Teater. Go behind the scenes and explore everything from the painters workshop to the costume workshop and wardrobe department. Step inside the rehearsal space, technical control room and actors’ dressing rooms – and experience what it feels like to stand on stage yourself.

More than 130 years old, the theatre has undergone many transformations over the years and holds fascinating traces and entertaining stories from its past.

As there is always activity throughout the building, rehearsals may be taking place in the rehearsal space or the workshops may be busy at the time of your visit. We therefore cannot guarantee that the tour will include every location, but we’ll do our best to give you an engaging tour of a theatre where entertainment has a purpose.

Guided tours of Nørrebro Teater are available for groups of at least 10 people.

The tour costs DKK 75 per person and can be booked by emailing nbt@nbt.dk.

PLEASE NOTE: The tour involves climbing several flights of stairs and is unfortunately not suitable for visitors with limited mobility.
