THEATRE FOR CURIOUS CHILDREN

What is the moon made of? What does the deep sea look like? And why do dogs sniff each other’s bottoms?

Children ask a lot of questions that adults do not always have the time to answer — especially on a Monday morning when everyone is rushing out the door. Fortunately, the Radionauterne are always ready to join children on adventures and help them discover the answers.

But on this particular day, things do not go quite as usual. When Karen and Lisa arrive, everything has been turned upside down. Suddenly, they are the ones asking the questions: Where is the child? Where should they look? Join the Radionauterne as they investigate a very mysterious morning…

Recommended for ages 5 and up.

THE TEAM BEHIND THE SHOW

Radionauterne creates educational content for curious children and was founded by Karen Brüel Birkegaard and Lisa Bay. For the past ten years, they have produced the successful podcast Radionauterne, which, with more than four million listens, has become Denmark’s largest podcast for children. Inspired by children’s own questions, they explore both the biggest and the smallest scientific mysteries of the world.

Radionauterne has published the book Radionauternes store opdagelsesrejse, appeared at festivals, and developed several other podcast formats. Radionauterne og den mystiske morgen marks Radionauterne’s theatre debut.

Alice Bier Zandén graduated as a theatre director from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2025 and has appeared in several films and TV series. She played the leading role in the Netflix film Ehrengard: The Art of Seduction(2023), and in the DR series Generations (2025) she had one of the four leading roles.

Karla Nor Holmbäck graduated as an animation director from the National Film School of Denmark in 2018. In 2020, she made her debut as an author and illustrator with the book Our Fantastic Different Families. Radionauterne og den mystiske morgen marks her debut as a set and costume designer.
