A MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO THE BODY WITH TRINE DYRHOLM, LOUISE MIERITZ AND TAMMI ØST

Twenty years ago, the three acclaimed actors Trine Dyrholm, Louise Mieritz, and Tammi Øst came together to write and compose songs reflecting where they found themselves in life at the time. These songs became the performance K.R.O.P.

Following two sold-out concerts at Nørrebro Teater in August 2025, the trio reunites to perform the songs once more as a concert, accompanied by musicians Emil de Waal and Gustaf Ljunggren. The songs explore themes of love, existence, alcohol, and death and the attempt to hold oneself together when life and the body fracture and must be pieced back together.

The songs are performed as they were originally written. In this concert, the women allow the music to flow through their now slightly older bodies, with the hope of connecting audiences across generations – a tribute to life and to the body that carries it.

Experience some of Denmark’s most distinctive actors and musicians in a concert that explores the often ambivalent relationship we have with the body, with love, and with life itself.

In connection with the K.R.O.P. concerts in August 2025, Louise Mieritz, Tammi Øst, and Trine Dyrholm appeared on Go’ Morgen DK, where they reflected on the project:

“We had fallen apart – shattered into atoms – and through K.R.O.P. we gathered ourselves again into a whole human being, a whole body. Now we see the same happening to many young people facing what we went through – a divorce, a life crisis, life and death… and alcohol. What we offer them is this material as a kind of shared experience – a gift.”

K.R.O.P. at Nørrebro Theatre is a concert version of the performance K.R.O.P., originally developed in collaboration with Grønnegårds Teatret and staged as a co-production between Grønnegårds Teatret and Bellevue Teatret in 2006.
